Las raíces del estudio son amargas, dulces sus frutos. UNIDAD IV: Formas verbales no Personales o Nominales (I): el Infinitivo y el Participio Pasivo. El Tema de Perfecto en Voz Activa (Modo Indicativo).

2 2.1.1.- EL INFINITIVO HISTÓRICO: 2.1.- EL INFINITIVO:
1.- LOS VERBOS propiamente dichos (o Formas Personales) NO SE DECLINAN, SÓLO SE CONJUGAN. I.- MORFOLOGÍA Y SINTAXIS DE LOS VERBOS EN LATÍN (2ª parte): Según sea su morfología, se dan dos tipos de verbos: En Griego sucede lo mismo, pero su sistema verbal tiene ciertas peculiaridades. 2.- FORMAS NO PERSONALES o FORMAS NOMINALES del verbo. A veces SE DECLINAN, pero NUNCA SE CONJUGAN. EL INFINITIVO HISTÓRICO: Es el Infinitivo que no depende de ningún verbo en F.P. sino que, al contrario, él hace las veces de verbo principal en F.P., y como tal se traduce en pretérito imperfecto de indicativo (en 3ª del sing. o del plural). Con frecuencia suelen aparecer en serie dos o más de estos infinitivos seguidos. Se utilizan para dar vivacidad a una narración, por lo que lo suelen utilizar sobre todo los historiadores: Catilina laborantibus succurrere, pugnare, hostem ferire,… Catilina socorría a los que estaban en apuros, luchaba, hería al enemigo, … 2.1.- EL INFINITIVO: (AMAR) = SUSTANTIVO + VERBO (= la compra) de … Quiero COMPRAR este libro Vbo.F.P. infinitivo Núcleo del C.D. C.D. C.D.  Puede desempeñar las funciones de Sujeto, Atributo o C.D. de un verbo en F.P. 2.2.- EL GERUNDIO: En Latín suele traducirse por un infinitivo. Se forma a partir del Tema de Presente. (en español: AMANDO). 2.3.- LOS PARTICIPIOS: El Gerundio latino = SUSTANTIVO + VERBO EL Participio de Presente: (En español no existe) En Latín se traduce o por un GERUNDIO o por una SUBORDINADA DE RELATIVO. Ej.: Catilina laborantibus succurrere. Catilina socorría a los que estaban en apuros. [ a los “laborantes”] = ADJETIVO + VERBO · Se declina como prude-ns prude-nt-is. · Se forma a partir del Tema de Presente. EL Participio Pasivo: (AMADO) = ADJETIVO + VERBO · Se declina como BONUS –A –UM. · Se forma a partir del Tema de Supino, añadiéndole –us –a –um.
