2 Introduction The aims of the project are to further develop the partnership between the staff and students in our schools We intend to use the theme of environmental research as a force for the discussion and practical work Objectives: Achieve a high standard of modern foreign language. Use ICT as a tool for communication. Promote european environmental awareness and responsibility. Attend residential visits in Spain studying culture, society, environment and language. Create personal development opportunities for students involving European citizenship issues La meta principal del proyecto es avanzar en el afianzamiento de los lazos del "hermanamiento" y la colaboración mutua entre los profesores y los alumnos de ambos centros. La investigación y el estudio de temas relacionados con el medioambiente serán la plataforma para el diálogo y el trabajo práctico. Objetivos: Fomentar el uso de la lengua extranjera en contextos significativos. Utilizar las nuevas tecnologías como herramienta de comunicación. Desarrollar un sentido de sensibilización y responsabilidad hacia el cuidado y respeto por las condiciones medioambientales en Europa. Visitar el Reino Unido para conocer y estudiar en un contexto real la lengua, cultura, sociedad y entorno medioambiental de la zona. Contribuir al desarrollo personal de los estudiantes como futuros hombres y mujeres que se sientan ciudadanos de un mundo plural.

3 We dont wear uniforms. We dont have lunch at school. Teachers move to our rooms. We start at 9.00 and finish at 2.45 Our school is smaller than this. Differences between schools

4 Actividades Nos conocimos en Portsmouth y fuimos a la bolera. Hicimos un aerogenerador. Fuimos a Brighton y a Londres. Fuimos a clases en el colegio. Jugamos a un juego ingles, Stoolball. Cenamos dos dias en Cobnor, uno con los profesores y otro con los alumnos.

5 The generator project. On Thursday 26 th we started to build generators. We worked with our Spanish partners.

6 Lo que me ha gustado Me ha gustado mucho el viaje. Me gustaria dar las gracias a los profesores y alumnos por su esfuerzo para que hayamos podido pasar estos 11 dias aqui.

7 What I got out of it. I improved my Spanish a bit.
