5 Making nouns plural….. When the noun ends in a vowel just add –s. Ex: el libro~~~~los libros la carpeta~~~ las carpetas When a noun ends in a consonant add –es. Ex: el papel~~~~los papeles el cartel~~~~ los carteles When the noun ends en a –z : change the –z to –c and add –es Ex: el lápiz~~~~ los lápices la luz~~~~~ las luces
