3 IntroducCION Los antidepresivos (AD) son un grupo heterogéneo de fármacos que tienen en común de ser utilizados para el tratamiento de desordenes afectivos caracterizados por depresión. DEPRESIÓN: Trastorno del humor caracterizado por sentimientos de tristeza y Autodesprecio y por lentitud física y mental.

6 IMIPRAMINA FARMACOCINETICA PRESENTACION grageas 10 mg
Vía oral: Su biodisponibilidad es del 30-75%. La velocidad de absorción es rápida , Tmax :1-2 h PRESENTACION grageas 10 mg compr. 25 mg, 50 mg compr. retard. 75 mg (pamoato) IMIPRAMINA INDICACIONES Depresión y distimias depresivas en niños, adolescentes, y ancianos. - Síndromes depresivos debidos a arteriosclerosis, accidentes cerebrovasculares, enfermedad de Parkinson, enfermedades somáticas crónicas, síndrome doloroso crónico y alcoholismo. MECANISMO DE ACCION Frecuentemente (10-25%): sedación y efectos anticolinérgicos: sequedad de boca, estreñimiento que ocasionalmente puede inducir un íleo paralítico, retención urinaria, visión borrosa, trastornos de la acomodación, glaucoma e hipertermia. Ocasionalmente (1-9%): somnolencia; hipotensión ortostática y taquicardia especialmente en ancianos, arritmia cardiaca, depresión miocárdica CONTRAINDICACIONES Alergia a imipramina - [trastornos bipolares] y [mania]: puede acelerar la transición hacia la fase hipomaníaca o maníaca e inducir un ciclo rápido y reversible entre la manía y la depresión. - [postinfarto de miocardio]: ante el riesgo de producir bloqueo cardiaco. EFECTOS ADVERSOS Náuseas, somnolencia (sueño) debilidad o cansancio, excitación o ansiedad , pesadillas , sensación de sequedad en la boca.

INDICACIONES Adultos y adolescentes entre 13 y 65 años: iniciar el tratamiento con dosis de 25 a 75 mg/día en una sóla dosis a la hora de acostarse. Adultos > 65 años: Inicialmente una dosis de 10 a 25 mg a la hora de acostarse Niños: las dosis iniciales son de 1 mg/kg/dia en tres administraciones hasta un máximo de 1.5 mg/kg/día PRESENTACION compr. 10 mg, 25 mg, 75 mg EFECTOS ADVERSOS Son frecuentes la sedación, hipotensión postural, efectos anticolinérgicos (boca seca, visión cercana borrosa, estreñimiento, retención urinaria, agravamiento de glaucoma de ángulo cerrado e hipertrofia prostática), ganancia de peso y efectos cardíacos  CONTRAINDICACIONES contraindicada en arritmias cardíacas especialmente en bloqueo de rama. visión borrosa. Ganancia de peso. MECANISMO DE ACCION  reducción en la recaptación de la norepinefrina y serotonina. La amitriptilina es metabolizada a nortriptilina que también posee actividad antidepresiva.

FARMACOCINETICA La sertralina se administra por vía oral y se absorbe muy bien por el tracto digestivo, la administración con los alimentos incrementa en un 25% las concentraciones plasmáticas máximas y se reduce el tiempo. PRESENTACION Sertralina ALMUS 50 mg comprimidos recubiertos con película EFG Sertralina ALMUS 100 mg comprimidos MECANISMO DE ACCION Actúa inhibiendo de forma selectiva la recaptación de serotonina en la membrana presináptica neuronal, con lo que se potencia el efecto de este neurotransmisor. Su efecto es muy leve sobre la recaptación neuronal de noradrenalina y dopamina. INDICACIONES indicada en el tratamiento de: Episodios depresivos mayores. CONTRAINDICACIONES En aquellos pacientes con hipersensibilidad al medicamento o cualquiera de los componentes de la formu­lación. El uso concomitante de SERTRALINA con inhibidores de la monoaminooxidasa (IMAO) está contraindicado, así como su uso dentro de un periodo de 14 días posteriores  EFECTOS ADVERSOS náusea.,diarrea, estreñimiento ,vómitos ,dificultad para conciliar el sueño o mantenerse dormido, boca seca , acidez estomacal ,pérdida de apetito.
