11 El verbo tener We use it in 2 ways: 1. to tell someone’s age
2. to show possession.

12 Age (Edad) In English, we use the verb “to be” to give someone’s age.
Marta is thirteen years old. He is 12 years old. Carlos is twety years old. In Spanish, the verb tener (to have) is used. Él tiene quince años. Yo tengo catorce años Megan tiene dieciseis años.
