The TR series also interfaces with proximity probes to monitor- radial vibration, axial position, speed and phase. The TR Transmitter is highly accurate and reliable. It provides 4-20mA output which can be sent to DCS or PLC to help monitor your vibration levels. 11 Setting PLC/DCS Alarms & Alerts

Tiempo de retraso tipico (1-6 segundos) 12 mA Alarmas Normal y de Peligro This page shows suggested Alarm and Alert Settings for PLC/ DCS systems. Notice the Legend in the Right hand corner. Dotted black lines are the suggested Alarm Levels (Settings). This is where we suggested you set your Alarms (I will describe all these different dashed lines in a minute). The Green line shows typical vibration level. You will notice at start up the vibration level is higher in the beginning (this is because at start up vibration levels are higher) there are problems with resonance frequencies until the machine gets to its running speed. Finally the Red Line shows error/ fault conditions. Higher than normal vibration readings, or low 4-20mA signals. Recommended Alarm Settings: Start up// Trip Multiplier Delay. During Start up (first 5-30 seconds) you set your alarms 2X 3X higher. This is called Trip Multipler (where you have some vibration protection). There is also a Start Up Delay, where you lock out all vibration readings for the first 5-30 seconds (this is not recommended because you have no vibration protection at all. At the bottom- Defective Transmitter/Sensor Alarm- Transmitter drops 4-20mA below 3.75mA, means transmitter has diagnosed fault in sensors or transmitter. Trip Delay- after Start up, set up a time delay of (1-6 seconds). This avoids nuisance trips, of someone bumping the sensor, or interference due to radio or electro-static discharge.
