3 Form a Question/ Forma una pregunta
The problem should be written as a testable question. What do you want to find out? El problema debe ser escrito en forma de pregunta. ¿Qué es lo que quieres averiguar?

4 Bibliography/ References (Research) Bilbliografía/Referencias (Encuesta)
You will need at least 3 references. Books, online resources, interviews, magazines, and videos are all acceptable sources. Necesitarás al menos 3 referencias. Libros, recursos en línea, entrevistas, revistas, y videos son fuentes aceptables.

5 HYPOTHESIS The hypothesis is a predication of results after doing research and before running test. It is more than just “an educated guess.” It must be based on your reading and research. What do you think will happen? Question: Does light affect plant growth? Hypothesis: If my plants receive no light, then the way plants will not show a difference in growth.

6 HIPOTESIS La hipótesis es una predicción de los resultados después de haber hecho la investigación y antes de comenzar a realizar las pruebas. Es más que una “adivinanza”. Debe estar basada en tu lectura e investigación. ¿qué piensas que ocurrirá? Hipótesis: Si mi planta no recibe luz, entonces mi planta no tendrá diferencia en su crecimiento.

7 Conducting an Experiment (Procedure) Realización de un Experimento (Procedimiento)
Conduct their experiment at home. Collect data in science journal at home. Materials (Make a list and collect the material he/she will use for their project.) List every step of their project. (Procedure) Llevar a cabo su experimento en casa. Recopilar datos en el diario de ciencia en casa. Materiales (Haga una lista y recopile el material que utilizará para su proyecto). Enumera cada paso de su proyecto. (Procedimiento)

8 Your Journal should include:
A list of all the materials you use. Notes on all the preparations you made prior to starting. Information about the resources you used. Detailed day-by-day notes on the progress of your project. Any drawings that you feel might help explain your work. Data that you gather from your investigation (notes, tables, charts, graphs, pictures).

9 Tu Diario debe incluir:
Una lista de materiales que son necesarios. Apuntes sobre las preparaciones anteriores. Informacion sobre los recursos que usaste. Apuntes detallados sobre el progreso del proyecto. Dibujos que explicaran tu proyecto. Datos que obtengas sobre tu investigacion (tablas, graficas, fotos, etc)

10 Analyzing Data and Graphs/ Analizar Datos y Grafícas
Create 3 different types of charts/tables/graphs that show their results. Your child needs to be doing a trial type investigation to be valid data. (10 times) Crear 3 tipos diferentes de tablas y gráficas que muestren sus resultados. Su hijo debe estar haciendo una investigación de tipo de prueba para que los datos sean válidos. (10 veces)

11 Analyzing Data and Graphs
The data collected in your project should be displayed in graphs and charts that are both easy to read and show the data accurately. Creative and colorful. Los datos obtenidos de tu proyecto deben ser mostrados en gráficas y tablas que son fácil de leer y muestran los datos correctamente. Creativos y coloridos.

12 Drawing Conclusions This is your answer to the original question.
The conclusion should relate directly to your hypothesis. What did you learn from your tests/experiment? Esta es tu respuesta a la pregunta original. La conclusión debe relacionarse directamente con su hipótesis. ¿Qué aprendiste de tus pruebas / experimento?

13 Application/ Aplicacion
Relate your project and any action or impact your results might have on everyday life. How is your project related to your everyday life? Relacione su proyecto y cualquier acción o impacto que sus resultados puedan tener en la vida cotidiana. ¿Cómo se relaciona tu proyecto con tu vida diaria?
