1 El Pretérito- The Preterite Tense
OBJECTIVE: TLW use the Preterite tense to express the actions in the past. The Preterite tense is one of the past tenses in Spanish. It is used to express an action that has been completed with a definite time period (ej. last night, yesterday, last week). The regular preterite tense is very easy to form. Drop the last two letters from the infinitive. Add the appropriate ending. In the preterite tense, the –er/-ir endings are the exact same in ALL forms.
