¿Qué son los verbos reflexivos? The subject in the sentence performs an action on itself The verb is considered reflexive and so is the pronoun used too Singular Reflexive Pronouns Me (myself), Te (yourself), Se (himself, herself) Plural Reflexive Pronouns Nos (ourselves), Se (themselves)

A verb is reflexive when the subject and the object are the same. Ex. I scratch myself Subject: I Verb: scratch Object: myself Juan se lava la cara. Juan washes his face. (reflexive) Juan lava su carro. Juan washes his car. (non-reflexive)

7 ¿Cómo usar los pronombres reflexivos?
Use with infinitive verbs. Example: Lavarse (to wash oneself) -Lavar is the infinite verb -se is the reflexive pronoun attached to the infinitive verb to show oneself

8 ¿Cómo se conjuga? 1. Place reflexive pronouns before the infinitive
2. Drop the endings and conjugate infinitives in present, preterite, imperfect, and future tenses when necessary 3. Exceptions for conjugating infinitives are allowed for irregular or stem changing verbs Ex: I wash myself. *start with lavarse Me lavarse Me lavarse → Me lavo
