History Club Deportivo Guadalajara, better known as Guadalajara and Chivas Guadalajara is a professional football club based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. It was officially founded on May 8, 1906 by the merchant and Belgian sales agent, Edgar Everaert, under the name of Union Foot Ball Club, the same year that began his footballing activity.

History The most representative and characteristic that distinguishes historically the Club Deportivo Guadalajara from other clubs in Mexico is their policy of playing only Mexican born players. Clubhouse «Verde Valle» Valle Verde is the training ground of Club Deportivo Guadalajara. These sports facilities include two soccer fields, bedrooms, media room and administrative offices.
