Week of November 14th-18th  Upcoming Events The Teacher’s Scoop! Great things from this week: Subtracting tens on a hundred chart, subtracting tens from two-digit numbers, author’s purpose, Veteran’s Day, and more. Office Reminders No transportation changes will be accepted by phone, , fax or text due to pick up alerts and custody issues. If a change needs to be made you will have to bring a note to the office by 11:00am. 11/18 – Friday Night Jam 11/23-11/25 – Thanksgiving Break What We Are Learning Next Week Reading: Sequencing (First, Next, Then, Last) Daily 5: Writing about what we are thankful for, continuing Guided Reading Groups, Work Work, and Read to Self LetterLand: understanding spoken words, syllables, and sounds Writing: What we are thankful for Math: Adding and subtracting tens and ones, part-part whole, true/false/equal with numbers and equations Spelling Words: bell, will, puff, miss, doll, off, hiss, huff, pass, sell, as, have, egg Sentences: 1. They will huff and puff as they go. 2. The egg fell. It was a big mess. Spelling Test will be Friday!
