3 Gender All nouns are either MASCULINE or FEMININE MASCULINE FEMININE

4 pequeño – change “o” to “a”
Gender If the noun is FEMININE, and the adjective ends in –o, change it to –a! la mesa pequeña – the small table pequeño – change “o” to “a” feminine noun

5 amarillo – change “o” to “a”
Examples la luz amarilla– the yellow light feminine noun amarillo – change “o” to “a”

6 Examples el lápiz rojo– the red pencil masculine noun don’t change!

7 Examples la puerta _______– the white door blanca feminine noun white
= blanco

8 Examples el reloj _______– the big clock grande masculine noun big
