3 What is a STEM-CHANGING VERB?
A verb in which the E in the stem changes to I or IE; or the O changes to UE when you conjugate it. In what CONJUGATIONS will the stem-changes occur? It will change in all the conjugations except Nosotros & Vosotros and the YO of some irregular verbs. EXAMPLE: QUERER (IE) Yo quiero Nosotros queremos Tú quieres Vosotros queréis Él/Ella quiere Ellos/Ellas quieren Ud. Uds. EXAMPLE: VENIR (ie) Yo vengo Nosotros venimos Tú vienes Vosotros venéis Él/Ella viene Ellos/Ellas vienen Ud. Uds.

Go to Conjuguemos.com Click Spanish Verbs Click on #2 Present Tense: Regular Verbs If you want to see a conjugation chart before you begin, go to Explain, click on Present on the left, click on Regular. When you are ready, click on Present Tense: Regular Verbs in the orange box. Click on Guided Practice Mode Click on Customize and change Pronouns to “ALL BUT vosotros” Click OK Click START Conjugate the verb that is given for the subject that is given. If you need an accent, you have to press +ACCENT after you type the letter that needs the accent. IF you get the conjugation wrong, you have to backspace to correct your error.
