The subjunctive is also used with expressions that convey judgments about something. Es natural que estés enojado con la decisión. It’s natural that you’re angry about the decision. Me sorprende que Gilberto se comporte tan raro. It surprises me that Gilberto behaves so strangely.

Use the present perfect subjunctive (el presente perfecto del subjuntivo) to express an emotion, judgment, doubt, or hope about something that has happened. It’s formed with the subjunctive of haber and the past participle of the main verb. yo haya comido nosotros(as) hayamos comido tú hayas comido vosotros(as) hayáis comido Ud., él, ella haya comido Uds., ellos, ellas hayan comido
