Every day the day and date will be written out in Spanish at the top of the slide. You should write this day/date in your notebook SWBAT: Follow daily procedures and recall rules and expectations for Español 1 This is the objective or SWBAT for the day’s lesson. This is our learning goal or what we hope to accomplish by the end of the class. This should also be written out in your notebook or on the top of your notes for the day. HAGAN AHORA: Find your group and get started on the activity by following the directions for the station. Here you will find your Hagan Ahora or Do Now activity. You should be working on this activity when the bell rings. You will lose daily points if I enter the room after the bell and you are not in you seat working on the Hagan Ahora.

2 CLASS DOCUMENTS SYLLABUS – This document contains important information about our class. Here you can find the rules and regulations, my expectations and what to expect throughout the year. You should bring this home and review it with your parent/guardian. You sign the last page and have a parent or guardian sign as well. Please cut off the bottom portion to return to me as proof that you and your parent reviewed the syllabus. The syllabus should be placed in your binder for reference. LETTER TO PARENTS – This is information for your parent/guardian. It does not need to be returned to me. It does contain important contact information and should be kept by your parent/guardian in case they need to reach me for any reason. PARENT/GUARDIAN CONTACT FORM – This should be completed by a parent/guardian -- not by you!! This will provide me with information about the best way to reach your parent/guardian in the event that I must speak to someone at home. It is also an opportunity for your parent/guardian to ask any questions or request additional information. REMIND 101/QUIZLET – This is information on how you can sign up for both Remind 101 and Quizlet online. Remind 101 is a system that allows me to send out text messages to all of you to remind you about important upcoming events such as tests and quizzes. Quizlet is an online study tool to help you review and study unit vocabulary and grammar. You must sign up for both.

3 You will spend approximately 10 minutes at each station
You will spend approximately 10 minutes at each station. When time is up, you will move to the next LETTER ie. Table A moves to B, Table B moves to C, etc. There are two stations for filling out the Student Information page. If you complete this before the time is up, you can sign up for Remind 101 and Quizlet. If you finish everything before time is up, come and see me and I will find something for you to do.

This is where you will find your exit activity for the day. Sometimes we will review it before the end of class and sometimes I will collect it. LA TAREA: Complete all forms and signatures and return necessary documents. La Tarea is the word for homework. Usually homework assignments are written out on the front board. Sometimes I will also add them to the presentation. I will also announce quizzes and exams on the front board.
