ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS: EJEMPLO: SEGUIR ( ) ¿Qué es un verbo con cambio radical? Yo sigo Nosotros seguimos Tú sigues Vosotros seguís Él/Ella sigue Ellos/Ellas siguen Ud Uds. Es un verbo donde la E en la raíz (root) cambia a I o IE; la O cambia a UE; o la U (jugar) cambia a UE cuando lo conjugas. EJEMPLO: MENTIR ( ) Yo miento Nosotros mentimos Tú mientes Vosotros mentís Él/Ella miente Ellos/Ellas mienten Ud Uds. ¿En qué conjugaciones ocurre? Ocurre en todas las conjugaciones excepto Nosotros & Vosotros y a veces YO de algunos verbos irregulares. También se llaman verbos de ZAPATO o BOTA porque si dibujas una línea alrededor de las conjugaciones con el cambio, aparece un zapato o una bota.

Saca un papel y el papel rosado con los verbos radicales. Titula el papel con tu nombre, per, fecha, y pg D Piensa en un lugar (place) específico como un restaurante, un parque, una sala de clase O una actividad como decidiendo qué hacer con otra persona. Usa este lugar o actividad como (as) la base para un diálogo. CADA persona necesita hablar por lo menos (at least) 5 veces y tiene que usar por lo menos 5 verbos diferentes con cambio radical. POR EJEMPLO: Si el lugar es un restaurante, ustedes pueden tener una conversación que incluye verbos como “servir”, “pedir”, “querer”, “poder”, etc. Si la actividad es decidiendo qué hacer, ustedes pueden incluir verbos como “querer”, “poder”, preferir”, “jugar”, etc.
