Week of March 13th-17th  Upcoming Events March 12th: Daylight Savings Time March 15th: Early Release Day March 17th: Saint Patrick’s Day The Teacher’s Scoop! Dear Parents, I hope everyone had a great weekend! This week we learned about balancing equations, wrote about “On a Rainy Day,” practiced our handwriting, etc. Note: I will not be here again this Friday, 17th because of another Reading Training! What We Are Learning Next Week Spelling Words: night, lie, right, tied, tight, pie, light, high, might, tries, one, lives Sentences: 1. One night I saw a big bat. 2. Nate lives right down that road. The Spelling Test will be on Thursday!  Reading: Authors Purpose Daily 5: Writing about “How to Catch a Leprechaun“, continuing Guided Reading Groups, Word Work, and Read to Self LetterLand: Syllables and understanding spoken words and sounds (phonemes) Math: Time Ksgiving WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK Star Student of the Week Snack Reminder Monday – Lily Tuesday – Ariston Wednesday – Thursday – Jayden Friday – Ivyianna On your child’s snack day, please send enough snacks for 21 students.
