The Verb Gustar Gustar means “to be pleasing to.”
We DO NOT conjugate gustar like other verbs. We translate gustar phrases to mean TO LIKE so that it sounds better in English.

The Verb Gustar Gustar is conjugated to match the thing being liked, NOT the person doing the liking.

You (inf.) like = Te gusta
The Verb Gustar I like = Me gusta You (inf.) like = Te gusta He/She/You (form.) likes = Le gusta We like = Nos gusta You all (inf.) like = Os gusta They/You all (form.) like = Les gusta

The Verb Gustar When you need to clarify who likes something or you want to add emphasis, add A + noun or pronoun.

The Verb Gustar When the thing being liked is plural, or there is more than one of the things, you must add the letter N to the end of “gusta.”
