Remote Display Access sessions can be initiated using MyJohnDeere and the JDLink website on any computer, smart phone, or tablet with internet connection. Remote Display Access sessions can also be initiated through ServiceADVISOR Remote (SAR) on computers, as well. Some applications such as SAR programming have prioritized messaging over Remote Display Access applications. In cases where bandwidth is limited by cellular network traffic, low cellular signal, or running applications, the Remote Display Access performance will likely degrade or terminate. Once the SAR reprogramming event is complete the system will return to normal performance with Remote Display Access.  Quit any open running applications prior to using Remote Display Access for optimal performance. The MyJohnDeere Operations Center stores data like prescription files, setup files, and documentation. Plus, it offers solutions like machine location monitoring, field analyzer, and Remote Display Access. Licenses and services like JDLink™ with Wireless Data Transfer also send data from machines to the Operations Center where customers can access it by logging on to The Operations Center allows customers to safely and securely share data with John Deere dealers, agriculture service providers, and other trusted advisors.

Con JDLink, cada equipo transmite información mediante una conexión celular desde la máquina a través de una puerta de enlace inalámbrica (puerta de enlace telemática o MTG). Ese hardware recopilará datos de funcionamiento de las máquinas como avisos, temperaturas e información del rendimiento de las máquinas. El controlador (MGT) reúne los datos y los transfiere inalámbricamente al servidor de datos, donde se procesan y facilitan a través del sitio web JDLink, mediante correo electrónico o mensaje de texto. JDLink™ también ofrece un módulo de hardware de comunicaciones satelitales opcional. Esto permite la transferencia inalámbrica de datos a zonas remotas donde la señal de teléfono celular no está disponible en forma permanente. Además, un usuario podría comprobar su máquina desde su ordenador enviando una solicitud (o ping) al controlador. Esta solicitud se transfiere al servidor JDLink a través de un enlace inalámbrico al controlador  de la máquina. Una vez que los datos son generados desde el controlador, son enviados de vuelta a través del servidor y finalmente a la computadora del usuario, donde la máquina se puede vigilar a distancia. Once the two are connected whatever screen or move is made with the operator’s display in the cab, it is displayed directly in the web browser viewer window within the JDLink™ web application. The connection speed and the time to refresh screens on computer end will depend on the cell coverage signal and internet connection speed and traffic.
