Week of January 30th-February 3rd  Upcoming Events The Teacher’s Scoop! Dear Parents, I hope everyone had a great weekend! This week we learned how to add 3 numbers, wrote about “My Pet Penguin”, learned about nouns and adjectives, practiced our handwriting, etc. Jan 31st – Report Cards Spelling Words: rope, bike, five, hope, write, home, ride, close, closing, writing, would, your, o’clock Sentences: 1. Would you let me ride your bike? 2. The shop will close at five o’clock. The Spelling Test will be on Friday!  What We Are Learning Next Week Reading: Plot and Counting Syllables Daily 5: Writing about Groundhog Day, continuing Guided Reading Groups, Word Work, and Read to Self LetterLand: Syllables and understanding spoken words and sounds (phonemes) Math: Missing Addends and Understanding Time Ksgiving WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK Star Student of the Week Snack Reminder Monday – Malachi Tuesday – Autumn Wednesday – Kordae Thursday – Elijah Friday – Ryker On your child’s snack day, please send enough snacks for 21 students. Esta semana aprendimos a agregar 3 números, escribimos sobre "My Pet Penguin", aprendimos sobre sustantivos y adjetivos, practicamos nuestra escritura, etc. El 31 de Jan – boletas Lo que estamos aprendiendo la próxima semana Ortografía palabras: rope, bike, five, hope, write, home, ride, close, closing, writing, would, your, o’clock oraciones: 1.
