Algunos verbos son irregulares en el pretérito.

2 Los verbos Andar, tener y estar son irregulares en el pretérito.
Tienen un “u” en la raíz. Parecen muy similares No hay acentos.

3 Tener Yo tuve I had Tú tuviste You had Él/ella/ud tuvo He/she/you had

4 Tener Nosotros tuvimos We had Vosotros tuvisteis You all had
Ellos/ellas/uds tuvieron They/you had

5 Estar Yo estuve I was Tú estuviste You were Él/ella/Ud estuvo
He/she/you were

6 Estar Nosotros estuvimos We were Vosotros estuvisteis You all were
Ellos/ellas/uds estuvieron They/you were

7 Andar Yo anduve I walked Tú anduviste You walked Él/ella/ud anduvo
He/she/you walked

8 Andar Nosotros anduvimos We walked Vosotros anduvisteis You all walked
Ellos/ellas/uds anduvieron They/you walked

9 Andar “Andar” quiere decir “to walk” o “to go” pero no a un lugar especifico. Utiliza “ir” con un lugar especifico. Fuimos a la casa Anduvimos por las calles

10 Los verbos Saber, poder y poner son irregulares en el pretérito.
Tienen un “u” en la raíz. No hay acentos.

11 Poder Yo pude I was able to/managed to Tú pudiste
You were able to/managed to Él/ella/ud pudo He/she was able to/managed to

12 Poder - to be able to Nosotros pudimos We were able to/managed to
Vosotros pudisteis You all were able to/managed to Ellos/ellas/uds pudieron They/you were able to/managed to

13 Poder - to be able to Poder tiene un significado especial en el pretérito. Pude parar - (After trying) I managed to stop No pude hacerlo - (I tried but) I couldn’t do it.

14 Saber - to know Yo supe I found out Tú supiste You found out
Él/ella/ud supo He/she/you found out

15 Saber - to know Nosotros supimos We found out Vosotros supisteis
You all found out Ellos/ellas/uds supieron They/you found out

16 Saber - to know En el pretérito, saber tiene el significado de “found out”

17 Poner - to put Yo puse I put Tú pusiste You put Él/ella/ud puso
He/she/you put

18 Poner - to put Nosotros pusimos We put Vosotros pusisteis You all put
