Dear Parents, I hope everyone had a great weekend! This week we completed our Math Benchmark and reviewed math we have one over the last quarter, wrote about “How Plants Grow,” practiced our handwriting, etc. What We Are Learning Next Week Spelling Words: blue, new, true, suit, threw, fruit, drew, juice, few, chewing, how, house, put Sentences: 1. Their new house is just up the road. 2. How do you put the lid on this juice? The Spelling Test will be on Friday!  Reading: Realism and Fantasy Daily 5: Writing about “A Picnic at the Park“, continuing Guided Reading Groups, Word Work, and Read to Self LetterLand: Syllables and understanding spoken words and sounds (phonemes) Math: 10 more or 10 less than a given number Ksgiving WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK Star Student of the Week Snack Reminder Monday – Cologino Tuesday – Tristan Wednesday – Brennan Thursday – Malachi Friday – Autumn On your child’s snack day, please send enough snacks for 21 students.
