Week of January 9th-13th  Upcoming Events The Teacher’s Scoop! Dear Parents, I hope everyone had a great break and week back! We are getting back into the swing of things! We have started geometry, we have written about the best present they received over holidays, and more! Jan 12th – Class Picture Day Jan 16th- No School Jan 23rd – No School Jan 31st – Report Cards Spelling Words: than k, sang, thing, bank, think, song, drink, flying, bring, resting, want, along Sentences: 1. We want to sing along with you. 2. I think Dad is resting. There will not be a Spelling Test this week due to testing! We will still be practicing these words! What We Are Learning Next Week Reading: Nouns and Adjectives/Winter Stories Daily 5: Writing about The Snow Day, continuing Guided Reading Groups, Word Work, and Read to Self LetterLand: Syllables and understanding spoken words and sounds (phonemes) Writing: The Snow Day Math: Geometry Ksgiving WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK Star Student of the Week Snack Reminder Monday – Kelly Tuesday – Jennera Wednesday – Lily Thursday – Ariston Friday – Jayden On your child’s snack day, please send enough snacks for 21 students.
