A continued THANK YOU to all of our Dickson families for your support. Due to unfortunate circumstances, we had to cancel our Family Bingo Night but we are looking forward to seeing all of you at our Family Math & Science Night on March 24th. This month, we are excited to introduce our NEW Spring Raffle Fundraiser!!! The Grand Prize is a pack of 4 Disneyland Park Hopper Passes followed by some exciting runner up prizes. Please look for your envelopes on Tuesday, March 1st and remember that all profits will benefit Doris Dickson student awards, assemblies, field trips, and shirts. If every student sells 5 tickets, that’s $16,000! We are also anticipating the Annual City of Chino Track Meet on April 16th. We would love to have a strong student and parent participation for this event. Team shirts will be donated to each track member. If you would like your child to participate, please inquire in the school office. We would also like to express our condolences to the Rizo and Owens families. This past February, both families experienced the loss of a loved one. Both families are asking for assistance. Muchas gracias a las familias de Dickson por su apoyo continuo. Debido a circunstancias fuera de nuestro control, tuvimos que cancelar la noche familiar de bingo pero esperamos verlos a todos en nuestra noche familiar de matemáticas y ciencias el jueves 24 de marzo. Este mes, nos complace anunciar nuestra NUEVA Rifa de Primavera!!! El premio grande es un paquete de 4 entradas “Park Hopper” a Disneylandia además de otros excelentes premios para los finalistas. Favor buscar los sobres el martes 1ro de marzo y recuerden que todas las ganancias van a beneficiar a los estudiantes de Doris Dickson en premios, asambleas, paseos educativos y camisetas. Si cada estudiante vende 5 boletos, podriamos recaudar $16,000! También les anunciamos la competencia anual de atletismo en Chino el 16 de abril. Nos gustaria tener una participación numerosa de estudiantes y padres de familia para este evento. Camisetas del equipo de “Track and Field” serán donadas a todos los participantes en el evento. Si le gustaria que su estudiante participe, favor acercarse a la oficina. También nos gustaria expresar nuestras condolencias a las familias Rizo y Owens. En el mes de febrero, estas familias experimentaron la pérdida de un ser querido. Ambas familias han solicitado ayuda.
