Se usa el presente progresivo para expresar algo que está teniendo lugar en ahora. (You use the present progressive to express something that is taking place right now) Used for: on-going/in progress actions that are happening right now. Ch Present Progressive

El presente progresivo es un tiempo compuesto - ¡hay dos partes! (The Present Progressive is a compound tense. There are 2 parts!) Estar + participio presente. You must have both parts! Ch Present Progressive
