2 “ing” ending in Spanish: -ar : ando -er / -ir : iendo

3 PRESENT PROGRESSIVE

4 ESTAR Estoy Estás Está -er / -ir : iendo Están Estáis -ar : ando Estamos

5  To make the participle (-ing), add –ando to the stem of AR verbs and –iendo to the stem of ER or IR verbs.  Ejemplos:  tomar  comer  escribir tomando comiendo escribiendo tom com escrib

7 CORRER – TO RUN estoy corriendo estás corriendo está corriendo estamos corriendo están corriendo estáis corriendo

8 -YENDO  When the stem of an –ER or –IR verb ends in a vowel, the present participle is –yendo instead of –iendo.  Leer  Oír  Traer le o tra leyendo oyendo trayendo

9 PRESENT PROGRESSIVE  Present progressive tense says what it being done in the moment.  Examples:  We are eating.  She is running.  I am playing.  Present progressive tense is done using “estar” plus a form of the verb.

NO VERBS CAN BE REPEATED! EX: Work by yourself = 5 verb minimum Work with 1 other person = 10 verb minimum (5 each) Work with 2 other people = 15 verb minimum (5 each) You must act out or show your verb “in action” in order to receive credit. EX:Yo estoy corriendo. (I am running.) There should be a video of you running.
