1 Items To Be Shared About Our Classroom Mrs. Johnson and Ms. Regan’s 1 st Grade Class

2 Our room may be chilly or warm on any given day. Children may want to bring a sweater or light jacket. Please make sure your child’s name is inside their jacket. Nuestro cuarto puede ser frío o calentarse durante cualquier día dado. Los niños pueden querer traer un suéter o la chaqueta ligera.

3 Please remember to send in a white t-shirt for us to tie-dye. This way, we will match on field trips, Field Day, and other special activities. 4 Our library day is Monday. Please remember to send your child's books each week. I allow them to choose a “green dot” that is on grade level and one book of their choice. 5 Classroom Behavior Rams: I give out rams to students who are making good decisions, following directions, and doing the right thing. These rams are collected daily and someone/some people will have the opportunity to pick a prize from our treasure box at the end of the day. 6 Classroom Behavior Slider: Each child has a slider on their desk. If they are not following directions, not making good choices, or are not following our class rules, they will be given a verbal warning. If their behavior continues, they will be asked to slide their slider. If the problem still continues, you will either get a note in your child’s Bee Book or I will call you. You can check your child’s daily behavior by looking at their homework sheet. Resbalador: Cada niño tiene a un resbalador en su escritorio. 7 Please make sure you are always checking your child’s Bee Book every night. You should sign in two areas each night stating that you made sure that your child completed his/her homework and that you spoke with your child about their daily behavior. Please make sure you are recording what spelling choice your child is completing for homework on the homework sheet. This helps me to know that you are aware of what we are learning in class and how your child is behaving. Por favor asegúrese que usted siempre comprueba el Libro de Abeja de su niño cada noche.
