1 CLASSROOM NEWS Week of September 19 th -23 rd  sarah_crawford@iss.k12.nc.us The Teacher’s Scoop! Great things from this week: Learning about realism and fantasy texts, “Read to Someone,” our first spelling test, we earned our first “Blue Tornado” as a class for great behavior! Office Reminders No transportation changes will be accepted by phone, email, fax or text due to pick up alerts and custody issues. If a change needs to be made you will have to bring a note to the office by 11:00am. PTO Theme Basket – Our class has been assigned a theme for the Fall Festival Basket that will be raffled off. Our theme is “arts and crafts.” Please send in donations by September 19 th. Star Student of the Week Snack Reminder WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK Tristan Monday – Kordae Tuesday – Elijah Wednesday – Ryker Thursday – Madison Friday – Brooke On your child’s snack day, please send enough snacks for 20 students.
