2 Gramática: Describing the Weather To talk about the weather, you will often use the verb hacer. – ¿Qué tiempo hace? (What’s it like out?) Hace… – mucho calor : very hot – mucho sol : very sunny – mucho viento : very windy – muy buen tiempo : very nice outside

3 Gramática: Describing the Weather When you talk about wind or sun you can also use hay. – Hay… (There is) mucho sol : a lot of sun mucho viento : a lot of wind To say that it’s cloudy, use the expression está nublado – Ejemplo: No vamos a la playa porque está nublado.
