3 Important Weather Phrases: What is the weather like? ¿Qué tiempo hace? HACE PHRASES: Hace sol. It is sunny. Hace calor. It’s hot.

4 More Hace Phrases: Hace frío. It’s cold. Hace viento. It’s windy. Hace buen tiempo. * It’s nice out/nice weather. Hace mal tiempo. * It’s bad out/bad weather.

5 Other Weather Phrases: Nieva. It is snowing. Llueve. It is raining. Está nublado. It is cloudy. Important note: These weather expressions are already verbs that express complete thoughts and therefore do not require the use of HACE. DO NOT PUT HACE IN FRONT OF THEM!
