7 Querida amiga, El verano pasado fui (I went) a un campamento en Alabama. El campamento se llamó “Camp Winnataska” y es en Birmingham Alabama. Cuando llegué, conocí mi cuarto y dejé mi equipaje ahí. Me gustaron mucho las actividades en el campamento. El primer día, acampamos en las montañas y cocinamos sobre el fuego. ¡Me encantó! La comida fue deliciosa. Cuando regresamos, yo tomé un curso de natación con mi amiga Natalia y después bajamos un río en canoa. ¡Que divertido! Tambíen participé en actividades adentro (inside). Canté en el coro porque me gusta mucho cantar, y jugué al ajedrez por la primera vez en mi vida. Fue muy difícil pero el ajedrez es interesante también. 8 Escriben  In the preterite, verbs that end in - car, -gar, and –zar verbs are spelled differently in the YO form. This only applies to the YO form! Other forms are regular.  We do this so that the spelling of the verb reflects the pronunciation.  ALL –car, -gar, and –zar verbs are –AR! They take –AR endings.
