What is a reflexive verb? Reflexive verbs are used to tell that a person does something to or for himself or herself. Ex: Antes de comer yo me lavo las manos Before dinner I wash my hands.

When the doer and receiver is the same person  we use the reflexive verbs Yo me cepillo el pelo todos los dias. – I brush my hair every day. Otherwise is just a regular verb Yo cepillo el pelo de mi hermana. I brush my sister’s hair.

To make the difference between a regular verb and a reflexive verb using the reflexive pronouns myself - meourselves - nos yourself - teyourselves - os himself herself - se Yourself (formal) themselves - se Yourselves formal
