-go verbs have an irregular yo form that ends in –go in the present tense. Hacer, poner traer, and salir are all considered –go verbs because their yo form ends in –go. –H–Hacer and Traer also have a minor spelling adjustment in the yo form
hacer—to do, to make 1.hago 2.haces 3.hace 4. 4.hacemos hacen
poner—to put, to place 1.pongo 2.pones 3.Pone 4. 4.ponemos Ponen
Traer—to bring 1.traigo 2.traes 3.trae 4. 4.traemos traen
salir-to leave, to go out 1.salgo 2.sales 3.Sale 4. 4.salemos Salen
Shoe verbs are stem- changing verbs that only stem-change in the tú, él/ella/Ud., and ellos/ellas/Uds. forms Many shoe verbs often also have a –go ending in the yo form. –Tener and venir are two such shoe verbs (or –go shoe verbs)
tener—to have 1.tengo 2.tienes 3.Tiene 4. 4.tenemos tienen
venir—to come 1.vengo 2.vienes 3.viene 4. 4.venimos Vienen
