Why would we do this??? Reasons: We get to practice what we have been learning all year in Spanish ll by talking to natives of Lima and store and restaurant keepers. Touring and museum visiting will be good language practice as well. Polish up what we have learned and “plaster” it in our brains so we will be all prepared for Spanish III! Obtain a couple extra history lessons about Peru without having to go to school by taking tours and visiting museums Learn the culture of a separate country from the U.S. and compare and contrast it to ours. Doing this helps us get out of our comfort zone and experience a new way of life. We can practice being out in the real world and use this opportunity to be responsible and learn to use money and interact with other cultures
