Border Health Information Platform An initiative of the BHC in partnership with the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) and the Mexico Secretariat of Health to establish improved mechanisms for border health data gathering and sharing The initiative is intended to improve the capacity for assessment and research of border health problems Una iniciativa de la CSF en colaboración con el Centro Nacional de Estadísticas de los Estados Unidos (NCHS) y la Secretaria de Salud de México para establecer mecanismos para integrar y compartir datos de salud Pretende mejorar la capacidad para evaluar e investigar los problemas de salud en la frontera

BHIP Actions Conducted meeting of representatives of U.S. HHS (OGHA, OPHEP, and CDC) and Mexico Secretariat of Health in July 2006 to update progress of BHIP NCHS and Mexico Secretariat of Health to draft strategic technical design of proposed BHIP Reunión de representantes de México (Secretaria de Salud) y de Estados Unidos (DHHS, OGHA, OPHEP y CDC) en julio de 2006, de actualización de avances de la Plataforma Binacional de Información en Salud (PBIS).
