What are the days of the week and months in Spanish?

Be careful with the spelling – you will be tempted to spell things like you do in English because they are so similar.
How do you say the date in Spanish?
La Fecha Start with the number el 11 – You will always say “el” before the number – On the first day of the month, you will NOT say the number 1. Instead, you will say “el primero”. Next, you will give the month de enero – You will always say “de” before the month Then you give the year de 2015 – You will always say “de” before the year – Also, the year is said as the whole number, it is no “chunked”. So it will actually be two thousand fifteen instead of twenty fifteen. el 11 de enero de 2015 – el once de enero de dos mil quince

How do you respond? ¿Cuál es la fecha? – Hoy es el 28 de agosto de ¿Cuándo es tu cumpleaños? – Mi cumpleaños es el 28 de agosto.
