Reflexive Verbs explain an action done to oneself the subject of a reflexive verb performs and receives the action (the action is reflected back to the subject) example: I am brushing my hair. She is taking a bath. (is bathing herself).

A reflexive verb is formed by using the reflexive pronoun and the corresponding form of the verb me + yo formnos + nosotros form te + tú form XXXXXXXXXXXX se + él, ella, Ud. formse + ellos, ellas, Uds. form The reflexive pronouns come directly before the conjugated verb

EXAMPLES bañarse-to bathe oneself/to take a bath You are taking a bath (bathing yourself). Te bañas. I am taking a bath (bathing myself). Me baño.Nos bañamos. Other important info… To make the sentence negative, add “no” before the reflexive pronoun Manuel no se afeita. Manuel is not shaving (himself).
