Año Nuevo!
New years day is celebrated on January 1st. It marks the beginning of the gregorian calendar. New years is celebrated in a variety of different ways by many countries and is celebrated by every Spanish speaking country.
For new years many people dance and play music in the streets. The streets are filled with people and its a real big party. At night they let off fireworks and drink. When it gets close to midnight they have a countdown and fire guns off into the sky.
Some areas have special ways to celebrate. Mayan areas gather around pyramids and have ceremonies. In Costa Rica they celebrate for days. Some places have parades and release bulls into streets. Another tradition that many people take part in is eating twelve grapes.
Pienso la celebracion de Año Nuevo es interesante. Me gustaria Ir a mexico para año nuevo. Tener una fiesta en las calles es divertido. Año Nuevo en Mexico tiene muchas actividades interesantes. Tienen mucho divertido en Mexico y tienen una fiesta para muchos días y me gustaría ir.
