 Adjectives of nationality that end in s or n have a written accent in the masculine singular. The accent is dropped in all other forms.

 Some other common adjectives of nationality that end in a consonant are: catalán, inglés, portugués, irlandés, japonés, alemán.

 Remember that adjectives, including nationalities, are NOT capitalized in Spanish.
