I bathe myself, I shave myself In Spanish the infinitives of reflexive verbs have –se attached to them (ducharse, vestirse, afeitarse, ponerse….) The –se ending changes according to the subject of the verb Yo …… me Tú …… te Él/ella/ usted … se (remains the same as the infinitive) Nosotros …. Nos Ellos/ellas/ustedes …. se (remains the same as the infinitive)

If you don’t use a verb like necesitar, querer or deber in front of the reflexive verb: 1.Remove the –se ending from the reflexive verb 2.Conjugate the verb according to the subject 3.Add the appropriate reflexive pronoun (me, te, se, nos, se) in front of the verb Por ejemplo: (lavarse las manos - to wash ones hands) yo me lavo las manos Tú te lavas las manos Él/ella/usted se lava las manos Nosotros nos lavamos las manos Ellos/ellas/ustedes se lavan las manos
