Apocalipsis 8:1-13 1Cuando el Cordero abrió el séptimo sello, hubo silencio en el cielo como por media hora. 2Y vi a los siete ángeles que están de pie delante de Dios, y se les dieron siete trompetas. 3Otro ángel vino y se paró ante el altar con un incensario de oro, y se le dio mucho incienso para que lo añadiera a las oraciones de todos los santos sobre el altar de oro que estaba delante del trono.

4Y de la mano del ángel subió ante Dios el humo del incienso con las oraciones de los santos. 5Y el ángel tomó el incensario, lo llenó con el fuego del altar y lo arrojó a la tierra, y hubo truenos, ruidos, relámpagos y un terremoto. 6Entonces los siete ángeles que tenían las siete trompetas se prepararon para tocarlas. 7El primero tocó la trompeta, y vino granizo y fuego mezclados con sangre, y fueron arrojados a la tierra; y se quemó la tercera parte de la tierra, se quemó la tercera parte de los árboles y se quemó toda la hierba verde.

8El segundo ángel tocó la trompeta, y algo como una gran montaña ardiendo en llamas fue arrojado al mar, y la tercera parte del mar se convirtió en sangre. 9Y murió la tercera parte de los seres que estaban en el mar y que tenían vida; y la tercera parte de los barcos fue destruida. 10El tercer ángel tocó la trompeta, y cayó del cielo una gran estrella, ardiendo como una antorcha, y cayó sobre la tercera parte de los ríos y sobre los manantiales de las aguas.

11Y el nombre de la estrella es Ajenjo; y la tercera parte de las aguas se convirtió en ajenjo, y muchos hombres murieron por causa de las aguas, porque se habían vuelto amargas. 12El cuarto ángel tocó la trompeta, y fue herida la tercera parte del sol, la tercera parte de la luna y la tercera parte de las estrellas, para que la tercera parte de ellos se oscureciera y el día no resplandeciera en su tercera parte, y asimismo la noche. 13Entonces miré, y oí volar a un águila en medio del cielo, que decía a gran voz: ¡Ay, ay, ay, de los que habitan en la tierra, a causa de los toques de trompeta que faltan, que los otros tres ángeles están para tocar!

He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. 4 And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand.

5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake. 6 So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. 7 The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up. 8 Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood.

A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night.

13 And I looked, and I heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!”
