However, when expressed in the negative, use the subjunctive: No es cierto No es verdad No es seguro

Por ejemplo: No es cierto que lleuva hoy. No es seguro que el gobierno resuelva el problema de la calentamiento global. No es verdad que podamos salir hoy a la mediodía.
