Acts 15:1-2 (NASB) 1 Some men came down from Judea and began teaching the brethren, "Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved."   2 And when Paul and Barnabas had great dissension and debate with them, the brethren determined that Paul and Barnabas and some others of them should go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders concerning this issue.

Acts 15:3-4 (NASB) 3 Therefore, being sent on their way by the church, they were passing through both Phoenicia and Samaria, describing in detail the conversion of the Gentiles, and were bringing great joy to all the brethren.  4 When they arrived at Jerusalem, they were received by the church and the apostles and the elders, and they reported all that God had done with them.

Acts 15:5 (NASB) 5 But some of the sect of the Pharisees who had believed stood up, saying, "It is necessary to circumcise them and to direct them to observe the Law of Moses."

14 But may it never be that I would boast, except in the cross of our Galatians 6:13-14 (NASB) 13 For those who are circumcised do not even keep the Law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised so that they may boast in your flesh.  14 But may it never be that I would boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

Galatians 6:15 (NASB) 15 For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.

9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 (NASB)  8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;  9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

6 The apostles and the elders came together to look into this matter. Acts 15:6-7 (NASB)  6 The apostles and the elders came together to look into this matter.  7After there had been much debate, Peter stood up and said to them, "Brethren, you know that in the early days God made a choice among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles would hear the word of the gospel and believe.

Acts 15:8-9 (NASB) 8 "And God, who knows the heart, testified to them giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He also did to us;  9 and He made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.

14 Where there is no guidance the people fall,          But in abundance of counselors there is victory.

Acts 15:10-11 (NASB)  10 "Now therefore why do you put God to the test by placing upon the neck of the disciples a yoke which neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear? 11 "But we believe that we are saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, in the same way as they also are."

Acts 15:12 (NASB)  12 All the people kept silent, and they were listening to Barnabas and Paul as they were relating what signs and wonders God had done through them among the Gentiles.

4 You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.

13 for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED." Romans 10:12-13 (NASB) 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him;  13 for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."

1 Corinthians 11:23-24 (NASB) 23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed took bread;   24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me."

1 Corinthians 11:25-26 (NASB) 25 In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me."  26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until He comes.

Proverbs 11:14(NASB) 14 Where there is no guidance the people fall,          But in abundance of counselors there is victory.

Acts 15:10-11(NASB)  10 "Now therefore why do you put God to the test by placing upon the neck of the disciples a yoke which neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear? 11 "But we believe that we are saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, in the same way as they also are."

Acts 15:12 (NASB)  12 All the people kept silent, and they were listening to Barnabas and Paul as they were relating what signs and wonders God had done through them among the Gentiles.

Galatians 5:4(NASB) 4 You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
