El Imperfecto En español, el Imperfecto se usa para describir acciones que ocurren repetidamente o habitualmente en el pasado. Acciones que pasan simultáneamente son expresadas en imperfecto. Esto es cuando dos acciones diferentes que están en progreso y pasan al mismo tiempo.

Cuando yo(tener) 5 años, yo (jugar) con mi monopatín. Cuando yo tenía 5 años, yo jugaba con mi monopatín.

Ella (escribir)una carta mientras Carlitos (hablar) por teléfono. Ella escribía una carta mientras Carlitos hablaba por teléfono.

Ellos (conversar) mientras Carlitos (trabajar) mucho. Ellos conversaban mientras Carlitos trabajaba mucho.
