Plural of an Adjective What is the Plural of an Adjective?
Just as adjectives agree with a noun depending on whether its masculine or feminine, they also agree according to whether the noun is singular or plural. To make adjectives plural, you just add an –s after the vowel at the end of the adjective. If the adjective ends in a constant you add –es. – La hamberguesa es sabrosa Las hamburguesas son sabrosas – El pastel es muy sabroso Los pasteles es muy sabrosos
When adjectives describe a group including masculine and feminine nouns, use the plural form, “Los” and “Las” Little note: The singular form of mucho means “a lot” or “much,” but the plural form is “muchos(as)” meaning “many.”
The Verb Ser What is the verb Ser?
The verb ser in Spanish means “to be.” It is an irregular verb. You use “ser” when you describe what a person or thing is like. Here are the present tense forms: (yo) Soy (tu) Eres ´ Ud. (el) es (ella) (nosotros) Somos (nosotras) (vosotros) Sois (vosotras) Uds. (ellos) Son (ellas)
