Mexican Constitution Day By Maddie Rigsby
Celebration On February 5th the Mexican Constitution Day was celebrated, until 2006 they changed it to the first Monday of every February from there on out. They celebrate by having festivals, parades, and family get togethers. Also on February 2nd they stop the sell of liquor until midnight of February 5th. They say it is because along time ago people drank a lot and they wanted them to be sober for the signing.
Historical Event February 5, 1917 was the day the Mexican constitution was signed. The constitution came after the Mexican Revolution fought between Spain and Mexico. Santiago de Queretano drafted the Constitution of the United States of Mexico. This is the one still used today.
Mexican Constitution Day is celebrated all over Mexico.

Participación Estoy feliz Mexicanos tiene una constitución. Para Algunos Mexicanos el día festivo sería divertido, pero no creo que la celebración de Mexicano su constitución día es muy importante a Americanos. Soy orgulloso de Mexicanos por hacer su constitución. Pienso Mexicanos merecen celebrar su constitución día pero no algo.
