Tener que + infinitive to have to (+ do something)
We know that tener means to have. When you use tener + que + infinitive it now means to have to do something. 1.Ustedes tienen que romper la piñata. 2.Yo tengo que decorar la casa. You all have to break the piñata. I have to decorate the house.
