Vocales (Vowels) in Spanish are always pronounced the same. They never change. Learn the sounds and always pronounce them the same way! A= E= I= O= U=

Gatos (cats) There is a supersition that cats have 9 lives. You will have a cats with 9 lives in this class for Term 1. HOW DOES YOUR GATO (CAT) KEEP ITS LIVES? When the Spanish Only sign is up you must speak only in español. Or if you have learned how to say something in Spanish, you must speak only español. You must ask permission to do things (go to bathroom, get a drink, etc in español)

Premios y Penalidades (Rewards and Penalities) Premios (Rewards) For every 3 cats you keep you get an I point. Keep all your cats and you get a prize! Get good participation grades on your report! Chance to improve your Spanish Penalidad: Penalty set by class (agreed on before hand) Participation grade is affected
