C ONTESTE LAS SIGUIENTES PREGUNTAS USANDO RESPUESTAS LARGAS Have you planned and achieve any goals? What do you do when you face a difficut situation?

B UILDING A SUCCESSFL FUTURE Human beings follow different directions in their lives to achieve their goals. These directions are simply opportunities presented in everyday life situations. People have to choose the ones they consider are better to build their own future. Many people plan the objectives they want to achieve and work on them very enthusiastically, although not all of them fulfils what they wish. When people fail, they usually feel defeated and, in some occasions, they even lose hope to reach their goals. They can also face a lot of difficulties, which, perhaps, make them be afraid or feel insecure. That is not a reason to stop. It is necessary to be strong and persistent to get what you want. Remember that making a decision in your life includes choosing an option or leaving it to the circumstances. However you must take into account that you may lose control of your life if you make wrong decisions. You are your own manager! So, make your decisions and be responsible for the consequences.

A NSWER THE QUESTIONS ACCORDING TO THE READING Why do human beings follow different directions in their lives? What happens when people fails? When may people lose control of their lives? Do you consider you are the manager of your life? Why? Write 5 sentences using the vocabulary list you made. Write a brief summary of the text. (in Spanish)
