Luc.12:13-21 13Le dijo uno de la multitud: Maestro, di a mi hermano que parta conmigo la herencia. 14Mas él le dijo: Hombre, ¿quién me ha puesto sobre vosotros como juez o partidor? 15Y les dijo: Mirad, y guardaos de toda avaricia; porque la vida del hombre no consiste en la abundancia de los bienes que posee. 16También les refirió una parábola, diciendo: La heredad de un hombre rico había producido mucho. 17Y él pensaba dentro de sí, diciendo: ¿Qué haré, porque no tengo dónde guardar mis frutos? 18Y dijo: Esto haré: derribaré mis graneros, y los edificaré mayores, y allí guardaré todos mis frutos y mis bienes; 19y diré a mi alma: Alma, muchos bienes tienes guardados para muchos años; repósate, come, bebe, regocíjate. 20Pero Dios le dijo: Necio, esta noche vienen a pedirte tu alma; y lo que has provisto, ¿de quién será? 21Así es el que hace para sí tesoro, y no es rico para con Dios.

Luke 12:13-21. 13And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me. 14And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you? 15And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. 16And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: 17And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? 18And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. 19And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. 20But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? 21So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

Jesús responde a un pedimento que se le hace. Jesus responds to a request that is made. Jesús ha estado enseñando a una gran multitud. Jesus has been teaching a great multitude.

Dónde ha estado la mente del hombre cuando Jesús predicaba. Where the mind of the man was when Jesus was preaching. No ha pensado en lo espíritual que Jesús enseñaba. He had not thought in what Jesus was teaching. ¡Pensaba en la herencia! He was thinking of the inheritance!

Jesus muestra su molestia llamándole HOMBRE. La respuesta de Jesús: Jesus' response: ¿Se enojo Jesús? Did Jesus get mad? 14Mas él le dijo: Hombre, ¿quién me ha puesto sobre vosotros como juez o partidor? 14And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you? ¡Claro que SI! Of course he did! Jesus muestra su molestia llamándole HOMBRE. Jesus shows his displeasure by calling him: MAN

El término "hombre" una una manera "frigida" y muestra el desagrado de Jesús. The term "Man" is a frigid way to answer to a carnal request. Pero el Señor sabía cuál era el problema de este hombre. But Jesús knew what this man's problem was. La codicia. Covetousness or greed.

15Y les dijo: Mirad, y guardaos de toda avaricia; porque la vida del hombre no consiste en la abundancia de los bienes que posee. 15And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. A eso lleva el deseo de tener más y más, A la codicia. When we desire for more and more, this has become Covetousness or greed. Es un problema que necesitamos ver muy de cerca. This is a problem that we all need to look at really close.

La vida de la cual Jesús habla, es la vida tanto física como espiritual. Por favor entendamos: El dinero no nos lleva al cielo... We need to understand: money WILL NOT take you to heaven

A rich man is blessed with large crops. Mirando todas sus riquezas, él hace planes para el futuro. As he considers his riches, he makes plan for the future.

Planea retirarse y gozar por mucho tiempo. What would he say to his soul? Alma... Soul...

Does he know he has a soul? ¿Sabe que tiene alma? Does he know he has a soul? Michos bienes tienes guardados. You have laid up many goods.

Para muchos años... For many years... ¿Cuántos? How many? Reposáte.. Take it easy.

Come... Eat... Regocíjate.. And be merry.. Bebe.. Drink..

Pero con todos y sus planes Dios le dijo: But yet with all his plans God tells him he is a fool. 20Pero Dios le dijo: Necio, esta noche vienen a pedirte tu alma; y lo que has provisto, ¿de quién será? 20But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

Porque esa misma noche va a morir. Tonto.. Fool.. Porque esa misma noche va a morir. Because that very night he is to die. ¿Y todo su trabajo? And all his work?

La parábola analizada... The parable analized.. El hombre cree firmemente que la vida consiste en lo que uno posee This man believes that life consists of the things one has. Los frutos eran suyos… The crops were his... El creía que estos le darían muchos años más de vida... He believed that these would give him many more years of life...

La insensatez de este hombre se mira en que: The foolishness of the rich man is seen in: No se conocía él mismo.. He did not know his own self.. No supo que era mortal.. He did not now he was a mortal.. No supo que NO iba a vivir muchos años. He did not know the he would not live many years. No supo que las riquezas NO sastifacen el alma. He does not consider that riches really can’t satisfy his soul.

Clearly we can see that in this passage we are seeing an ATHEIST.

La parábola aplicada. The parable applied. Luc.12:21. Como en toda enseñanza, Jesús se encargará en darle su aplicación. Like in all his teachings Jesús would give the aplication for us. Luc.12:21. 21Así es el que hace para sí tesoro, y no es rico para con Dios. 21So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

Si hacemos planes para el futuro y estos se enfocan en Si queremos hacer tesoros para nosotros mismos, somos como este rico... If we want to make riches for ourselves, we become like this rich fool. Si hacemos planes para el futuro y estos se enfocan en nosotros y NO en Dios, somos como este rico. If we make plans for the future and focus on self, and not on God, we are like this fool.

Siendo ricos para con Dios... Being rich toward God... Estar en Cristo es muy requerido... Being in Christ is absolutely required... Efesios 2:4-7. Usar bien las riquezas nos puede ayudar a: The proper use of the riches can help... Lucas 12:33,34.

Jesús dijo al jovén rico: Jesus said to the young rich man: Matt.19:21. Pablo le dijo a Timoteo que encargara a los ricos que: Paul told Timothy to command those rich: 1 Tim.6:16-17. Que nadie mal entienda: to not misunderstand Nosotros de esta forma NO estamos comprando el cielo... We are NOT buying our way to heaven...

Notemos cómo jesús enseña a sus discípulos... Pero Jesús dijo: But Jesus said: 21Porque donde esté vuestro tesoro, allí estará también vuestro corazón. Matt.6:21. 21For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Notemos cómo jesús enseña a sus discípulos... Notice how Jesus encourages his diciples...

Si hacemos esto, Dios hará dos cosas: Les recuerda como Dios nos cuida.. He reminds them how God takes care of us.. Luk.12:20-30. El punto clave es hacer TESOROS en los cielos. The key is to make treasures in heaven. Luke.12:31 Si hacemos esto, Dios hará dos cosas: If we do this, God will do two things: 1. Nos dará todo lo necesario. 1. He will give us all the basic needs. Luke.12:31 2. Nos dará el reino de los cielos. 2. He will give us the kingdom of heaven. Luke.12:33.

Hacer tesoros para uno mismo. Make treasures for one self. De esta parábola todos hemos entendido que podemos: From this parable we have learned that we can: Hacer tesoros para uno mismo. Make treasures for one self. No ser ricos para con Dios. Not be rich toward God.

¿Dónde están tus tesoros mi hermano? Where are your treasures my brother? ¿Estas guardando para el día que se acerca? Are you storing for the day to come? 1 Tim.6:6-10, 17-19.
